Individual Who Grabbed Ariana Grande on the occasion of Movie Premiere Banned from Singapore

An Australian man who jumped across a fence and reached for celebrity Ariana Grande has been deported and banned from Singapore.

The individual, aged 26, was handed a penalty to over a week in jail for being a public nuisance and has now been "barred from re-entering Singapore," the country's border control stated to Singaporean press.

The man shoved through camera crews and approached aggressively the performer and artist, who was present at the regional launch for the musical adaptation on the thirteenth of November. Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo intervened to remove him from Grande.

Wen has a history of interrupting performances and star-studded occasions, including rushing the stage at a Katy Perry performance in Sydney in June this year.

The occurrence sparked outrage in Singapore, with many saying he of causing further distress to the star.

The pop star has spoken of dealing with PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at her performance in the UK city in spring of 2017 resulted in the deaths of over twenty people and injured hundreds.

Throughout the court proceedings, the judge was informed he had tried to gain access on the movie's debut multiple times, according to local news sources.

He then made a another effort to breach security. Event security stopped him and pinned him down.

The man subsequently shared recordings thanking Grande for permitting his access and said he was "free."

Authorities detained him the following day and charged him with disorderly conduct, to which Wen pleaded guilty.

The Court Judge the judicial official was referenced by Channel News Asia as remarking that he was looking for publicity, noting that he was incorrect to think he would not experience repercussions.

The singer has not spoken about the case.

The co-star mentioned the event to the press, remarking that she "only aimed to verify my co-star was protected."

"I think he didn't intend us danger, but you never know with those things, and I wanted to make sure that she was OK. That was my first instinct," she commented.
