Esteemed Performer The actor Pat Finn, Famed For Appearances in The Middle and Friends, Has Died at 60 Years Old.

American performer Pat Finn, who was seen in popular TV shows like Friends, Seinfeld and The Middle, has died aged 60.

The comedy and improvisation performer passed away at his residence in Los Angeles, California on Monday following treatment for a cancer diagnosis from 2022 onward, as reported by news outlets.

"Pat never met a stranger - only friends he had yet to meet," his loved ones stated in a message.

They added that he had "lived his life fully - with zest and passion".

A Prolific TV Career

Finn's first television role was on a show starring George Wendt in 1995, where he appeared as the lead character's sibling.

He subsequently landed a regular part on Murphy Brown between 1995 and 1997.

He appeared as Joe Mayo in the show Seinfeld in 1998, portraying a social organizer famous for delegating unpleasant chores to his guests.

During the end of the 90s and start of the 2000s, he made guest appearances on several well-known programs, like:

• "King of Queens"
• Friends
• "That '70s Show"
• House, M.D.

His most famous role for playing Bill Norwood in The Middle, featuring across eight series between 2011 and 2018.

His film credits encompass It's Complicated and Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups.

A Life in Improv

Away from his television work, Finn was a skilled improviser and also taught at the Colorado university, where he was a professor.

He was a member of a six-member improv team named Beer Shark Mice.

"Pat guided, supported, and advised numerous pupils throughout the years and it would be difficult to find a person anyplace who has an unkind word to say about him," his relatives stated.

Offering condolences, peer Richard Kind remarked there was "not a more kind, gentle, or funny, down to earth person you could encounter".

"Perpetually optimistic, helping you be funnier and better. An excellent dad and person," he shared online.

Pat Finn is remembered by his wife Donna, three children, and his parents and siblings.
